资源简介:
This specific geodatabase represents stations/wells within the CSM version 1.1 (v1.1) domain and will primarily be used by the groundwater modeling team of the St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD). The primary purpose of this dataset is to serve as an input dataset for the CSMv1.1, which will be utilized to predict the effects of water use and demands on users and on natural systems, particularly for the 2027 CSEC RWSP. This dataset is the result of intensive and collaborative efforts between SJRWMD, the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD), the Suwannee River Water Management District (SRWMD), and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), along with the input from different agencies, water supply utilities, and other stakeholders to develop the 2027 CSEC RWSP. The 2027 CSEC RWSP will ensure the protection of water resources and related natural systems and identify sustainable water supplies for all water uses in the CSEC RWSP planning area through 2050. The predecessor dataset was previously developed during the planning cycle of the 2022 CSEC RWSP and this geodatabase was updated during the planning cycle for the 2027 CSEC RWSP. PROJ_2050 Projected water demand at the station/well level for the year 2050, in MGD. EOP_plus_2050_AG5in10 Used by SJRWMD for regulatory/planning purposes. “EOP” represents the “End of Permit” allocation, 2050 represents using the station’s 2050 projections quantities for non-permitted stations, and AG5in10 represents using the 5-in-10 allocation (to be used for pertinent agricultural stations/wells). CSM_LAYER Field used by modelers to denote model layer information. Data Integration Methodology and Data Sources Current pumping will be represented in the CSMv1.1 by average withdrawals in the five-year period from 2019 to 2023. Annual data from 2019 to 2023 was available in SJRWMD and SRWMD. For the CSM dataset, current pumping in SWFWMD and SFWMD are represented by a five-year average of 2019, 2020, and 2021-2023 set to 2020, with one exception. 2023 agricultural use data for SFWMD in the CSM dataset was revised based on updates in version 12 of the Florida Statewide Agricultural Irrigation Demand (FSAID) dataset. Average annual water use in SJRWMD was calculated based on monthly water use data submitted through the consumptive use permitting (CUP) compliance program. Monthly operating report data from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection was used to fill in any data gaps and for uses that may not be reported through the CUP compliance process. Similarly, agricultural water use and demand projections data were supplemented and sourced from the FSAID dataset published by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) and The Balmoral Group. Data from SFWMD, SRWMD, and SWFWMD were gathered through each agency. More detailed methodology information on data integration and data sources can be found in Appendix B of the 2022 CSEC RWSP, which will be updated as part of the 2027 CSEC RWSP development. Within the CSEC planning area (i.e., northern Lake, Marion, Volusia, Brevard, Indian River, and Okeechobee counties), the 2050 water demand projections were developed using standard SJRWMD projection methodologies as currently described in Appendix B of the 2022 CSEC RWSP. Some manual adjustments were made to reflect BEBR county-level population totals in Marion and Lake counties and after considering additional information submitted by public supply utilities. For areas within SJRWMD but outside the CSEC planning region, existing 2045 water demand projections were extrapolated to 2050, since 2050 water demand projections had not yet been developed for these areas. For other water management districts, 2050 projections were set equal to 2045. The data compilation for the CSM geodatabase is summarized as follows: Scenario CSEC* Outside CSEC (SJRWMD) SFWMD SWFWMD SRWMD Current Pumping 2019-2023 2019-2023 2019-2023 (w/ 2021, 2022, 2023 = 2020)** 2019-2023 (w/ 2021, 2022, 2023 = 2020) 2019-2023 2050 2050 projections 2050 (extrapolated) 2050 = 2045 2050 = 2045 2050 = 2045 *CSEC counties include northern Lake (non-CFWI), Marion, Volusia, Brevard, Indian River, and Okeechobee. **Includes FSAID 12 updates for 2023 or 2050 agricultural water use or projections. Important Notes Of note, one particular groundwater station (Station ID: 19796) associated with CUP – 2742 (Wekiva Falls RV Resort) is a free-flowing artesian well that will be represented in the DRN package in the groundwater modeling scenarios. Through coordination with FDACS, SJRWMD staff were able to provide information that supported additional agricultural acreage in Brevard County, which will be incorporated in FSAID 13. Although the 2027 CSEC RWSP will use FSAID 12 for agricultural projections, FDACS and SJRWMD agreed that use of the updated FSAID 13 acreage and associated water demand for Brevard County is preferred. The 2027 CSEC RWSP tables reflect the revised agricultural data for Brevard County, however, the geodatabase has yet to be updated. It is anticipated that the FSAID 13 geospatial data will be available in May 2026 and once received, will be utilized to update Brevard County agricultural water demand in the CSM geodatabase. In contrary to the mathematical notations used in groundwater modeling well files, all withdrawal quantities in this geodatabase file are denoted by positive (+) signs and the quantities associated with rapid infiltration basins (RIBs) are represented in negative (-) signs. All water uses and demands in this dataset are in million gallons per day. Last revision: 04/17/2026
