Glomalin-Related Soil Protein Dynamics, Soil Aggregate Stability and Organic Carbon Sequestration

Glomalin is a unique glycoprotein produced by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and exhibits high thermal stability. It exists in the soil as glomalin-related soil protein (GRSP) and is widely distributed in soils globally. GRSP plays a significant role in the formation and stability of soil aggregates, as well as in the enhancement of the soil organic carbon pool.
