Jiryes Farhat to Suleiman Farhat, 1 October 1934 (1/2)

The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny. In this letter Jiryes Farhat writes to his son Suleiman Farhat in California describing the respective schools where he has enrolled George and Mary (Katrina and Suleiman's children) after Katrina and Fred's departure earlier in 1934. A Jewish friend of Jiryes scribes the letter, with a Yiddish notation (perhaps a song) at the bottom. These images exist as part of the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
