Endodormancy, a stage in which a growth of dormant bud is inhibited by an internal factor, is a critical process of perennial plants to adapt to the environment of the winter season and has a great significance on the cultivation management of tree crops, including Prunus species. In this study, we attempted to construct de novo genetic maps with an employment of GBS method and to identify QTLs underlying endodormancy release in two P. mume F1 populations.
