Vagina Specific databases development For taxonomy we used an in-house created vaginal microbiome-specific database that is based on the robust Genome Taxonomy Database release 207 (GTDBr207). We further confirmed the GTDB taxonomy assignments using another vaginal microbiome-specific database based on the Silva 138 annotations (supplementary).
