本数据是全国第一次一类清查建国后人工林及四旁树统计表，数据统计了建国后全国西南地区、西北地区、中南地区、华东地区、华北地区、东北地区及台湾30个省市自治区人工林各齢组（幼龄林、中龄林、成熟林、未分龄组）面积和蓄积、竹林面积、未成林造林地面积、四旁树株数、四旁树蓄积及全国经济林面积。This dataset is a statistical table of post-1949 planted forests and four-side trees (trees planted along roads, waterways, villages and farmlands) from the first national Category I Forest Inventory. It includes statistics on the area and standing timber volume of planted forests grouped by forest age classes (young stands, middle-aged stands, mature stands, and ungrouped stands), bamboo forest area, area of young afforestation sites, number of four-side trees, standing timber volume of four-side trees across 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government in Southwest China, Northwest China, Central-South China, East China, North China, Northeast China and Taiwan Province, as well as the national economic forest area.
