资源简介:
This data package contains GIS layers representing 'potential' and 'current' modeled distributions for the endangered arroyo toad (Anaxyrus californicus), described in Treglia et al. 2015 (Integrating Multiple Distribution Models to Guide Conservation Efforts of an Endangered Toad. PLOS ONE, DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0131628). The potential distribution model was developed using all available presence data and pseudoabsences, and relative static landscape (e.g., climate, topography), and represents where the landscape has the potential to be suitable for the species, given appropriate land cover. The current distribution model was developed using presence and absence data collected during 2005-2013, supplemented by additional pseudoabsences, with the long-term variables used in the potential model, as well as temporally-relevant remotely sensed variables related to land cover. The layers in this data package include the continuous outputs (i.e., a metric of probability of presence), and binary presence/absence predictions, derived from the continuous outputs. Full methodological details are available in the aforementioned publication and an associated dissertation (available as PDFs in the data package). Further description of GIS layers is also given in the README.html file within the data package folder. Please read the Data Set Usage Rights if planning to use these data.
