Data and code for "Reconstructing mangrove sediment carbon accumulation rates from public evidence: computational choices and numerical constraints"

This dataset and code archive accompanies the manuscript “Reconstructing mangrove sediment carbon accumulation rates from public evidence: computational choices and numerical constraints”. Version 1.3 provides the consensus evidence audit of 54 purposively selected mangrove publications from East and Southeast Asia and the adjacent western Pacific, together with materials for two bounded reconstructions of sediment carbon accumulation rates using cores C24 and SD-8. The archive includes publication-level evidence tables, denominator-specific audit views, physical-core lineage records, reconstruction inputs, analysis scripts, archived computational outputs, figure source data, and documentation of computational choices and interpretation boundaries. The publication sample is purposively selected and does not support estimates of literature-wide deficiency rates or regional corrections to carbon accumulation rates.
