Priming test on tomato seeds by using different concentration of algal biomass residual after extraction. Two strains were used: Nannochloropsis gaditana S4 strain and Synechococcus PCC11901 BC strain generated by UNIVR. In both cases residual biomass was obtained upon extraction of pigments with organic solvent and, in the case of Synechococcus, extraction of phycocyanin in water based solution, The residual biomass was used for priming test on tomato seeds to investigate tis potential biostimulant properties. The values reported indicated average root length after four days of germination
