OADS URL Accessibility Panel: eleven monthly crawls of 182,600 data and software links from PLOS papers (2025–2026)

A longitudinal panel of 182,600 open-access data and software (OADS) URLs appearing in PLOS journal articles, re-crawled in eleven monthly snapshots between April 2025 and June 2026. The same URL set is crawled every month, so the dataset records link rot as a process rather than as a single snapshot: a resource permanently gone can be distinguished from one that was briefly unreachable. Each URL carries a five-way type label (author-provided or third-party dataset, author-provided or third-party software, or project page) from a published classifier, and a Wayback Machine archival flag obtained by resolving DOI and Handle URLs to their targets before querying. The deposit includes the eleven monthly crawls, a per-URL summary table, a URL-to-article-DOI table, the availability-API results, a README with a full data dictionary, and a Datasheets-for-Datasets document.
