Dataset of the paper titled "How landscape of Fear (LOF) and Hunters’ Horizon (HuHo) mediate foraging activity of a mesopredator in spring habitat"

Dataset of a study that coupled a laboratory experiment with field surveys to investigate the role of LOF and HuHo in shaping spring exploitation by a mesopredator like the larvae of the fire salamander (Salamandra salamandra).Between April and June 2024, in mesocosms we exposed 192 larvae from cave and surface to different levels of LOF and HuHo across an artificial ecotone from a dark sector to a lightened one.
