RT-qPCR expression data for circulating mRNA biomarker candidates in colorectal neoplasia

This Zenodo record contains RT-qPCR expression data supporting the study "Circulating mRNA candidates as non-invasive biomarkers for colorectal neoplasia". Using an integrative multi-phase experimental design, whole-transcriptome RNA sequencing was combined with two-step RT-qPCR validation in independent tissue and plasma cohorts. The validation covers the full adenoma-carcinoma sequence and includes both pre-operative and post-operative plasma samples. RT-qPCR data are reported as mean Ct values calculated from technical triplicates (CTmean). Relative expression values are provided as log2-transformed expression normalized to the maximum observed expression for each gene within the dataset. These data represent the validation phase following RNA-seq-based biomarker discovery. Raw RNA sequencing data are available via NCBI GEO/SRA and will be linked upon publication.
