Research data for the systematic literature review of the causes and conditions of the constitutional crisis in Poland

The objective of the review was to analyse how academic discourse understands the causes and conditions of the Polish constitutional crisis. The review was conducted with a method of systematic literature review, and its full results can be found in the review report (Wyjaśnianie polskiego kryzysu konstytucyjnego. Raport z systematycznej analizy piśmiennictwa, https://open.icm.edu.pl/handle/123456789/23944).The literature review was conducted as a part of the research project PRACTIS (Power, Reflexivity And ConsTitutional crisIS). The general aim of the project is to propose a new theoretical model for constitutional practice, defined as reflexive constitutionalism. The point of reference for the research is provided by the recent Polish constitutional crisis. We assume that the Polish crisis, as a local yet representative variant of wider tendencies, offers a vantage point to analyse global crisis phenomena in the legitimacy of democratic power, the rule of law standards and constitutional practices of liberal democracy.
