Data and code for: Tree felling by chainsaw: a laboratory assessment of the hinge flexibility in relation to its width and to the back-cut height
收藏资源简介:
Dataset and analysis code supporting the study "Tree felling by chainsaw: alaboratory assessment of the hinge flexibility in relation to its width and tothe back-cut height". Seventy-two square beams of European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) and silver fir(Abies alba Mill.), 36 per species, were prepared with chainsaw-cut directionalnotches and back cuts and bent to failure in a universal testing machine. Thearchive contains the raw load-deformation signals for all 72 specimens, theprocessed analysis datasets derived from them, and the Python scripts thatreproduce every statistic, table and figure reported in the paper, together withthe ten published figures as PNG (600 dpi), SVG and PDF. The canonical analytical dataset is n = 69 (36 fir, 33 beech) after Tukey1.5xIQR outlier removal per species, with n = 68 for the force and energycorrelations.
