Genomics of Burkholderia symbionts in Lagriinae beetles. Burkholderia gladioli

Lagriinae beetles engage in a symbiotic association with multiple strains of Burkholderia gladioli bacteria, some of which can be cultivated in vitro. The purpose of this project is to record and analyze genomic data of the different strains and compare their metabolic capabilities to better understand the ecology and evolution of the Lagriinae-Burkholderia symbiosis.
