Draft Terrestrial Landscape Intactness for 2026-2027 IRP

This layer represents a classified view of the 2025 updated version of the Conservation Biology Institute’s Terrestrial Landscape Intactness multicriteria evaluation model (the last version is from 2016). This is a draft update to the high category of the Terrestrial Landscape Intactness screen for use in the 2026-2027 IRP cycle. Terrestrial landscape intactness is a measure of landscape condition based on the extent to which human impacts such as agriculture, urban development, natural resource extraction, and invasive species have disrupted the landscape across California. The high category of landscape intactness is used to determine high-implication land.
