Fjord basin polygons, seismic horizon picks, and sediment thickness outputs for Fiordland fjords

General Information Supplementary geospatial and seismic horizon picks supporting a fjord-wide investigation in Fiordland, New Zealand. The datasets were generated and used by QGIS-based workflows and are intended for reuse in fjord geomorphology and seismostraigraphy.All datasets are provided in standard QGIS and seismic formats and can be used independently or in combination with the associated processing workflows, archived separately on Zenodo. Content Basin Geometry Basin_Polygons-Fiordland_*.gpkgFjord basin polygons for each identified basin across Fiordland (Unland et al., 2025). Generated using the Basin Delineation workflow (see Zenodo) Centerlines_Fjords-Fiordland_*.gpkgCenterlines for individual fjords and fjord complexes are used for spatial referencing and along fjord analysis. Used as input for the Carbon Gradient Estimation workflow (see Zenodo). Seismic Horizons Seismic-Horizon_picks_IHSKingdom-Fiordland_*.datSeismic horizon picks exported from IHS Kingdom, as X, Y, line, trace, time, and amplitude. .dat includes the basement, H1, and seafloor and are not separated by CruiseID based on processed single-channel and multi-channel seismic data. Seismic-Horizon_picks_QGIS-Fiordland_*.gpkgQGIS seismic horizons for basement, H1, and seafloor, separated by CruiseID and converted to use as input for QGIS-based processing (see Zenodo). Sediment Thickness Outputs SU2_Thickness_grids-Fiordland_*.tifRaster grids of seismic unit 2 for each fjord, generated using the Sediment Thickness Calculation workflow (see Zenodo) based on H1_.gpkg and seafloor_.gpkg.
