This study explores the role of FTO-mediated m6A RNA methylation in ovarian cancer progression. Bioinformatics and clinical analyses revealed significant FTO downregulation in tumor tissues, correlating with elevated m6A levels and enhanced oncogenic transcript stability. Functional assays demonstrated that FTO knockout promotes tumor cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, while FTO overexpression suppresses these phenotypes in vitro and reduces tumor burden in xenograft models. The dataset includes raw RNA/protein expression data, m6A quantification, functional assay results (CCK-8, Transwell, flow cytometry), and bioinformatics scripts, providing insights into FTO as a potential therapeutic target for ovarian cancer.
