The degradation of mulching films (MFs) and their effects on swine manure composting were investigated in the treatments with: no MFs (CK), aging bio-MFs (BM), no aging bio-MFs (NBM), and aging polyethylene (PE) MFs (PEM). Outdoor aging (45 days) accelerated macroscopic degradation of bio-MFs.
