The PhysGym dataset is a collection of 97 physics problems designed to evaluate the capabilities of Large Language Model (LLM)-based agents in interactive scientific discovery. These problems span across six physics domains: Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetism, Optics, Modern Physics, and Relativity, each accompanied by detailed physical scenario descriptions, symbolic equations, executable Python code, and step-by-step solutions.
