Free or parasitized ticks, including Ixodes persulcatus, Dermacentor nuttall, Hyalomma asiaticum and Hyalomma marginatum, were collected from 6 cities in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China. Tick samples were summarized and grouped according to species, collection locations and hosts, and metagenomic sequencing was used to understand the virome.
