Surface and bulk band structure of possible superconducting magnetic topological In-doped MnBi2Te4 compound

Recent discovery of intrinsic magnetic topological insulators (IMTI) creates new perspectives for quantum anomalous Hall, and axion phase. Moreover, inducing the superconductivity to IMTI would open the way for Majorana fermions and topological quantum computing. This project is devoted to the detailed investigation of the electronic structure of In-doped IMTI (Mn1-x, Inx)Bi2Te4 by means of ARPES, that is expected to be a first superconductive magnetic topological material. Obtained results will shed light on the complicated interplay of magnetism, topological states and superconductivity in one compound.
