Replication data for: The Dynamics of Large Inflation Surges

This package contains all replication materials for the results presented in Andres Blanco, Pablo Ottonello, and Tereza Ranosova (2024). The replication folder is divided into 5 sub-folders. The sub-folder “../replication/do_files” has all the do files to be run in STATA. The sub-folder “../replication/input” contains all the raw data and the sources. We do not provide Consensus Data since it is proprietary. The sub-folder “../replication/output” has all the statistical and regression analysis output files. The sub-folder “../replication/results” has all the results (i.e., figures and tables) in the paper. Finally, the sub-folder “../replication/temp” has all STATA's temporal and log files. Additionally, we provide an excel file “Sources_data_description.xlsx” with details about the sources and coverage of macroeconomic variables in the pane.
