VPRS 14570 Index to Photographs and Negatives [Education History Unit]

This box listing was created by the Education History Unit in c.1996 as a finding aid for images in VPRS 14518. The photographs in VPRS 14518 were originally separated into collections of images of an event or series of events on a single theme. The descriptions reflect this, generally being event titles, locations or names of politicians attending. A date is usually included, sometimes as the only description of a set of photographs.At some points there appears to be a chronological sequence to the photographs, but there is no consistent arrangement.The photographs in VPRS 14518 depict schools, school students, teachers, politicians, educational activities and other education-related subject-matter. The images were used for various Department publications. Other miscellaneous items (for example, letters written by students to the Department) have occasionally been housed with the photographs.
