Vertical Momentum Flux Decomposition Permitting Coexistence of Rossby, Mixed Rossby-Gravity, Kelvin and Inertia-Gravity Waves Across Scales

This repository contains the data and visualization scripts accompanying the manuscript: Vertical Momentum Flux Decomposition Permitting Coexistence of Rossby, Mixed Rossby–Gravity, Kelvin, and Inertia–Gravity Waves Across Scales, Neduhal et al. For full details about the dataset, methodology, and naming conventions, please refer to the manuscript. The repository contains cospectra of the vertical momentum flux of zonal momentum (VMF). The VMF is decomposed into 25 components, corresponding to all combinations of the decomposed horizontal zonal wind and vertical wind components. The repository also contains five Python scripts for visualizing the data.
