The human colon tissues and peripheral blood were approved for use by the Research 

Ethics Committee of First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University (No. 

5101449, China) and written informed consents were provided by all patients and 

volunteers. Animal experimental protocols were approved by the Animal 

Experimental Ethics Committee of Anhui Medical University (No. 20220132) and 

strictly followed the ethical regulation of the Committee for Animal Care and Use at 

Anhui Medical University and the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals 

(National Institutes of Health, the United States). All efforts were made to minimize 

animals’suffering and to reduce the number of animals used.
