Predicting the Results of Evaluation Procedures of Academics: Appendices

The three appendices of the paper entitled "Predicting the Results of Evaluation Procedures of Academics":<b>-Appendix A:</b> a list enumerating all the scientific areas (first indentation level), macro-sectors (second indentation level) and recruitment fields (third indentation level), as they have been defined at the beginning of the ASN.Since all the names have been defined only in Italian, we use here the English translation provided by the Italian National University Council (CUN) - the elected body representing the Italian University System.<b>-Appendix B:</b> a table showing basic statistics of the 2012 session of the ASN for each recruitment field.In the second column, ”B” and ”NB” denotes bibliometric and non-bibliometric recruitment fields, respectively.The other columns show the number of applicants, number of habilitations and fraction of habilitations for each acadmic level (i.e. full professor and associate professor).<b>-Appendix C:</b> a table reporting the name, type and description of the predictors selected by the feature selection algorithm.
