This series comprised a reference set of the Annual Reports of the State Rivers and Water Supply Commission and the Rural Water Commission/Corporation. Successive Water Acts, commencing with section 49 of the Water Act 1905, required these agencies to report to the Parliament on an annual basis.The final report, for the period 1 July 1994 to 31 October 1995, included information about the disposal of the agencys business functions, business units and assets to various public and successors and others.
