Size 13 in. by 8 in.; foll. 516. Twenty-nine lines in a page. An elegant copy of the Ḳâmûs, which was made for Molla Muḥammad Sa’îd b. Muḥammad Ṣâliḥ Mâzandarânî, commonly called Ashraf, a court poet of the time of Aurangzîb. According to a note in his own handwriting, this was completed at the beginning of Dhu’l-ḳa’dah 1111, at Dehli (فى منزلى فى الدّهلى تجاه معبد الهنود). Neatly written, on tinted paper. titles in gold. A tasteful ornament at the beginning. Gold and blue lines round the pages. Some notes. A biographical notice of Ashraf, drawn from the سرو آزاد , 1 has been added at the end.
