Replication Data for: The influence of out-of-plane motion on the deformation measurement of planar biaxial tests on biological soft tissue

This data set contains experimental data, i.e. measured deformation and forces, during a planar biaxial test. Both 2D-DIC and 3D-DIC were performed simultaneously on a planar biaxial experiment on aortic tissue. 2D-DIC, is limited to measuring in-plane deformations only, any movement of the sample relative to the sensor will cause erroneous measurements. Additionally, material model parameters, fitted from the experimental data, is given for both methods.
