GenBank sequences used in an analysis of punctid land snails supporting the description of four new species of minute punctids from Tasmania

The Punctidae is a family of small to minute land snails that are often under-represented in museum collections, with investigations hampered by small size and lack of material. This dataset comprises sequence data from GenBank for two mitochondrial (COI, 16S) and one nuclear (ELAVI8) markers used to supplement new sequences for a phylogenetic analysis of Australian Punctidae, to support the description of four new species.
