Urban greenness change in Helsinki and Copenhagen between 2005 and 2019.

Data used in the CO-CARBON project to identify gains and losses of greenness in the cities of Helsinki and Copenhagen between 2005 and 2019 built out of seasonal composites of LANDSAT 5 TM and LANDSAT 8 OLI/TIRS surface reflectance scenes and conditionally filtered based on the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service's Urban Atlas 2006 and 2018 datasets. The dataset includes the following layers for both cities: Difference in seasonally standardised NDVI between 2005 and 2019. Difference in seasonally standardised NDVI between 1995 and 2005. Persistent areas of greenness change according to NDVI between 2005 and 2019. Final identified areas of gains of greenness between 2005 and 2019. Final identified areas of losses of greenness between 2005 and 2019.
