Survey of British RE Teachers assessing attitudes towards teaching on environmental themes

This survey sought to determine the attitudes and experiences of RE teachers in the UK towards teaching environmental themes in RE. The survey instrument was designed by Jeremy Kidwell and Ian Jones, with helpful input from Kevin O’GradyLead Consultant for Research at Culham St Gabriel’s Trust. A sample of 70 complete responses were collected using Qualtrics online platform after receiving ethical approval from the University of Birmingham ethics committee (ERN_21-0711). The survey was open from 22 June until 25 July 2021. Some data has been redacted for the sake of anonymisation, including Q10, Q11, Q31 and Q32 results. This research was jointly funded by Culham St Gabriel Trust and St Peter's Saltley Trust.
