CRSP US Stock Database

The CRSP US Stock Database contains daily and monthly market and corporate action data for over 32,000 active and inactive securities with primary listings on the NYSE, NYSE American, NASDAQ, NYSE Arca and Cboe BZX exchanges, as well as CRSP market cap segment and decile indexes.

Two database versions are available:

1. December 1925 to present
2. July 1962 to present

The database includes:

- Price and quote data: open, close, high/low, bid/ask
- Holding period returns with and without dividends
- Excess returns and other derived data items
- Market capitalization
- Shares outstanding
- Trading volume
- Security delisting information
- Corporate actions
- Identifiers, descriptors, and supplemental data items
