Kodaikanal Hill Garlic (GI Tagged ) - Low Pass Whole Genome Sequencing

This project aims to specifically differentiate GI- tagged Kodaikanal Hill Garlic, known for its distinctive pungent aroma, from other garlic varieties. The goal is to provide farmers and exporters with tools to authenticate and market genuine Kodaikanal Hill Garlic, supporting the integrity and economic value of this unique variety. This submission is to bring forth the Low Pass Whole Genome Sequencing of Geographical Indication (GI) tagged Kodaikanal Hill Garlic, being the first Allium species to be sequenced in India.
