Description: This dataset presents an in-depth analysis of the effects of six distinct LED light spectra, alongside a neon light control, on the growth performance, nitrogen use efficiency (NUE), and seed yield of four Arabidopsis thaliana genotypes. The experiment was conducted in controlled-environment growth chambers under long-day conditions, with three biological replicates per genotype and treatment. The study aims to elucidate how different light spectra influence key physiological and metabolic traits related to plant growth, biomass allocation, and nitrogen and carbon metabolism. Traits Analyzed: Biomass: Rosette dry weight, stem dry weight, seed yield, and total plant dry weight. Biomass allocation: Proportions allocated to rosette, stem, and seed. Nitrogen and carbon concentrations: Rosette and seed nitrogen and carbon concentrations. Isotope measurements: 15N and 13C concentrations and partitioning across plant tissues. Nitrogen dynamics: Nitrogen remobilization efficiency (NRE), nitrogen uptake efficiency (NUpE), and nitrogen use efficiency (NUE). Partitioning and remobilization: Nitrogen and carbon partitioning in rosette, stem, and seed, alongside nitrogen remobilization and uptake quantities.
