This dataset is the spatial distribution data of land use types in Hulan County, Heilongjiang Province in 2008. It is vector data containing attribute fields such as land code and land type. The land types are classified into secondary categories: paddy field, dry land, closed forestland, shrubland, sparse forestland, other forestland, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glacier and snow land, tidal flat, bottom land, urban land, rural residential areas, other construction land, sand land, gobi, saline-alkali land, swamp land, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Specifically, cultivated land is categorized into paddy fields and dry lands in mountainous, hilly, plain areas, and on slopes with a gradient greater than 25 degrees based on landform. The scale of this dataset is 1:100,000.
