资源简介:
Apolipophorin (apolpp) encodes an apolipoprotein in Drosophila which is responsible for the transport of lipids from the gut and fat body to other organs. It is also involved in the innate immune response of fruit flies. To investigate its function in the regulation of innate immunity, we performed the RNA sequencing to compare the difference between apolpp mutant fly (BDSC ID:27749) and w1118 stock. Only 5-to-7d-old male adult flies after eclosion were used for the infection experiment. All anaesthetised adult male flies were infected using a pulled glass capillary mounted on a MICRO-2T SMARTouch™ apparatus (World Precision Instruments, USA). Both of apolpp mutant and w1118 flies were injected with M. luteus (OD600 = 1) and PBS. Total RNA was extracted and sequenced with Illumina Hiseq 4000 platform. Finally, 150bp paired-end reads were generated.
