Fred Daley was an accomplished amateur filmmaker with a passion for Australian steam locomotive history. Family holidays centred around trips to and on historic railways throughout the country. Shot on 8mm, the legacy of Fred's films are now available for all to be seen thanks to the generosity of his son Neville's donation of the films to the ACMI Collection.
