The following data sets contain data collected from our experimental TestBed, and are focused on the TTFB metric latency between pairs of network functions of the Open5GS open source 5G Core Network.Traffic for the 5G network was generated via My5G-RANTester, and in some data sets, the network functions were subject to Chaos injected via Chaos Mesh.
The attribute naming convention is as follows:amf-outbound-nrf-204 - means that the attribute represents the TTFB metric for communication initiated by the AMF network function, outgoing into the direction of the NRF network function, with HTTP code 204.In a similar fashion, when an attribute ends with the word "-code" or "-failure", it represents the HTTP code and the failure classification (any attribute with value over 10ms), respectively. For all attributes, the latency is measured in miliseconds.
There are three data sets:NRF_Delay.csv - The NRF network function was subjected to chaos - additional latency was introduced, equal to 100ms, with jitter equal to 20ms.Idle_Network_State.csv - Represents measurements taken without any traffic being generated.Network_traffic.csv - Represents measurements taken with the My5G-RANTester tool carrying out the registration procedure.
