Database of Artists and Illustrations on De Benguella às Terras de Iácca and De Angola à Contracosta

This is a database created to support the investigation of the different artists involved in drawing, printing, and editing the illustrations present in the two volumes of the travel book De Benguella às Terras de Iácca and in the two volumes of De Angola à Contracosta, both written and published by Portuguese explorers Hermenegildo Capelo and Roberto Ivens after their expeditions to Angola in the latter-half of the nineteenth century.
