We found that oncogenic KRAS significantly enriches levels of the guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) DOCK8 on lysosomes. DOCK8 is aberrantly expressed in a subset of Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma where it promotes cell invasion in vitro and in vivo. Overall design: mRNA was extracted from 15 untreated pancreatic cancer patient-derived organoids and RNA profiles were created using Illumina HiSeq 4000. Transcripts were aligned using STAR version 2.6.0a to GRCh38 using the basic 2-pass mode.
