Protecting and promoting Heritage at Woolmers and Brickendon Estate

This project will contribute to the restoration of natural and built heritage features of Woolmers and Brickedon Estate, which are highly valued by the community. Both these sites are remarkable examples of farming and convict assignment provide an insight into the evolution of the estate as a large pastoral property over two centuries. The team will work with Council and engage key stakeholders and local community groups through field day and media activities. Key threatening processes to be managed include weed invasion and access management, both of which threaten the integrity of built heritage through structural damage, as well as reduce habitat values.
