Triturus ivanbureschi linkage mapping and Y-chromosome identification

This project aims to identify sex-linked markers for the Balkan crested newt Triturus ivanbureschi, via RADseq of 60 adult newts (30 male, 30 female). The markers are than placed within the genome via construction of a high-density RADseq-based linkage map, with data coming from a separate family of 160 individuals.
