These are Atari 2600 video game artefacts supplied by Paul Allen Newell. MINOTR7.ASM is the original plain text source code for MINOTR7. The only changes made to the file were to remove ^M characters at the ends of lines and some extraneous ^Z characters at the end of the file. Minotr7.bin is an EPROM dump of MINOTR7. The dump was made by John Hardie c. 2003. This maze demo is programmed to continuously scroll, and the only user control is the Color/B·W switch: Color sets the maze to \"hard\" and B·W sets it to be \"easy\". Maze22jun82.bin is an EPROM dump of the unpublished maze game. The dump was made by John Hardie c. 2003. Maze22jun82.txt is documented source code for the unpublished maze game. While it is based on original source code listings, it has a somewhat complex provenance that is explained by Newell in an added preface. MINOTR.RUL is the plain text document describing the unpublished maze game. The format of the original file on the floppy disks set the high bit at the end of each word, and these high bits have been changed to 0 to make the file readable as regular ASCII, and ^Z characters at the end of the file have been removed. Newell has added a retrospective preface onto the file.
