This collection comprises text, image, spreadsheet and GIS data from a trial trenching evaluation at Watling Street, Hints, Lichfield, Staffordshire. 22 trial trenches were excavated in order to test the area for any surviving archaeological features, particularly those that may relate to the former roman road at Watling Street. No early archaeological features were identified during the evaluation with only post-medieval drainage being recorded across the site.
