Site Data from an Archaeological Excavation North of 63 Rectory Road, Stisted, Essex, 2021

This collection comprises reports, images, site records, and CAD files from an archaeological excavation. This was carried out on land north of 63 Rectory Road, Stisted, Essex, CM77 8AL in advance of the construction of a residential development by Colchester Archaeological Trust in May 2021. Open area excavation of the northernmost residential plot uncovered a small number of Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age pits, pits/ditches and postholes/stakeholes. Archaeological monitoring on the access road uncovered the continuation of a ditch identified in the evaluation.
