资源简介:
This dataset contains size-fractionated fatty acid concentration data derived from surface water samples collected during a semidiurnal tidal cycle in the Bahía Blanca Estuary (Argentina). Surface samples were collected using a Van Dorn bottle and sequentially prefiltered to obtain three particulate size fractions (<20 µm, 20–200 µm, and >200 µm). Particulate material was retained on pre-combusted GF/F filters, freeze-dried, and subjected to lipid extraction and transesterification. Fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) were analyzed using gas chromatography (Agilent 7890B) coupled to a flame ionization detector and mass selective detector. Concentrations are reported in µg L⁻¹. The dataset provides information on short-term variability in the biochemical composition of seston.
