Temporal and Spatial Variations in Anaerobic Microbiomes from Different Inoculum Sources for CO Conversion in a Thermophilic Trickle Bed Reactor

In this study, three trickle-bed bioreactors were inoculated with distinct microbial sources: anaerobic sludge, anaerobic digestate, and cow manure. The reactors were supplied exclusively with carbon monoxide (CO) as the sole carbon and energy source. Temporal and spatial variations in the microbial communities were investigated using metagenomic analysis. The raw sequence data is disseminated here.
