Graduate students are fundamental to expanding interdisciplinary capacity to conduct social-environmental synthesis research. Yet, few training opportunities exist for students to develop the requisite skills to engage in such research and thrive in interdisciplinary teams. This project synthesizes past evaluations of interdisciplinary graduate training programs with a mixed-method evaluation the National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC) Graduate Student Pursuit (GSP) program.
